I heard this morning over 50 million people will be traveling this weekend. If you are one of them, travel safe and enjoy your time with family. If you are like me and staying home, then let's agree to worship together on this Sunday before Thanksgiving. See the schedule, extra events and prayer requests below.
Sunday: 9:30 a.m. Rocky Joyner's Sunday School Class — LIVESTREAM only (go to www.mariettanaz.com). His lesson this week on “Being Content”…sounds like a great topic for all that's happened in 2020. His scripture is from Exodus 20:17; I Timothy 6:6-10 and I John 2:15-17.
SUNDAY WORSHIP–Join us for a special Thanksgiving Worship Service this week. The music will be uplifting and encouraging. I'll be speaking on “Things Everyone Should Be Thankful For”. We welcome you to join in-person or via livestream (same website as above). We social distance, masks recommended but not required. Join us live if you're comfortable and we understand if you are not.
It's our tradition to decorate the church the Sunday before Thanksgiving. That's this Sunday! While we are scaling way back from what we normally do, help is needed to put things in place. If you are able we need your help. Various areas will be assigned so there aren't a lot of people in one area. With lots of help we anticipate this to go very quickly. So fast in fact, we aren't even planning lunch (also because of COVID).
Ed Huff for a full recovery.
Cris Williams Uncle Tom–received a pacemaker this morning and doing well.
Jesse Merchant–David's Father–suffered a stroke yesterday and is in a Maine Hospital. Estimated the severity is a 6 on a scale of 10.
Heather Fletcher had a hard week; Kathy Coleman, Bob Kutas, Mike Boling and Sondra Cauble.
Thanks for caring and for praying.
