A part of our Church’s responsibility and seems to be widely accepted by our Devotional Family is the Ministry of Prayer. Each week I send prayer requests and it isn’t unusual to hear back from someone I’ve never met stating they are praying for those that were mentioned. On behalf of those you have prayed for and their families, thank you – each one of you – for taking the time to pray for others. Some individuals will be mentioned below, but let me remind you about our CONFERENCE PRAYER CALL which will take place tomorrow evening at 7:00pm (EDT). YOU are not only invited to join us, but are encouraged to do so. The call only last 35 minutes or less, but according to many who respond after each call, it is very beneficial. Please feel free to send me any prayer requests you would like us to pray over – unless told other-wise, they will be mentioned on the call just as they are received. I’ll need the request by 6:00pm tomorrow night. Getting on the call is easy – a few minutes before 7:00pm simply dial the following number: 312-626- 6799 then enter the ID number 6249762750# then hit # again when prompted. You’re on.
Today’s Prayer Requests:
Yvette – oldest daughter of Becky MacLaren who is in an Arizona hospital in critical condition. Yvette had a kidney transplant a few years ago. I’m not sure what’s going on now, but she is having trouble breathing and on a ventilator.
Jack Cady & family – Jack lives in Michigan, a part of our Devotional Family and a great personal friend as well as a friend of our church. He lost his mother Sunday afternoon.
Mike Boling – lost his Uncle Jimmy Fulford last week. Pray for Mike’s Mother Mary Nell who is in a Nursing Home. At this writing she does not know her brother passed away as she is very ill herself. Remember Mike at this time as he carries this burden for his Mom.
Bob Kutas, Ron Katis, Caryl (Charlotte Stafford’s daughter) as she receives radiation treatments again, Heather Fletcher, all cancer patients around the country, Diane Hill, Kathy Coleman, Natalie Matthews, Hildreth Kenerly .
Valorie (Creasy) Coffey – recuperating nicely from knee surgery.
Pray for our students, school teachers, administrators, all school employees as decision are made on how and when they will have school this Fall.
For our Nation, leaders, COVID patients and COVID front line workers, that those destroying the livelihood, property and putting the lives of others in danger will be stopped.
For REVIVAL in our own heart, church, community and world.
