“Maturity In Action”
Have you ever wondered what a mature Christian life looks like? I’m sure we all have and do. The best example is putting into practice the things Jesus said. The devotional today comes from one of our readers in Nashville, Tn. I have never met David, but his words are challenging, encouraging and inspiring. They show us “Christian Maturity In Action.” They are as follows:
“To those I have wronged I ask forgiveness! To those I may have helped, I wish I did more! To those I neglected to help, I ask for understanding! To all who have helped me, I sincerely thank you so much! I know life is not about what I’ve done, what I should’ve done, what I could’ve done…NO IT’S ABOUT WHAT I CAN DO AND WHAT I WILL DO.
God teaches truth. HEY, a truth can walk naked, but a lie always needs to be dressed! TRUST doesn’t come with a refill. Once it’s gone, we probably won’t get it back and if we do…it will never be the same!!! Now folks, that’s a fact. The phrase, “DO NOT BE AFRAID” is written in the Bible 365 times. That’s a daily reminder from God to live every day trusting in Him and letting Him guide your life.” Great words David. Thanks!!
