Over the past several days we have had some amazing discipleship training on witnessing and spirit filled worship services with Dr. Chic Shaver and his wife Nancy. The services ended last night, but the revival is starting. Not all of you could attend the weeknight services, but you really need to do your best to join us this Sunday for our 10:45am Worship Service. I’ll be speaking from Acts 9:6. Immediately following his conversion, Saul of Tarsus asked the Lord, “What do you want me to do now?” Where do we as a Church go now after being fed some Biblical information this last week? I want to share a number of things the Lord has been speaking to me about regarding you, me and our Church. Plan now to join us!
This Sunday at 9:30am we are having an All Church Breakfast in honor of one of our “Faithful Remnants.” The “Remnants” I speak of are the 30 people who were present the very first Sunday Chris and I came to Marietta in January 2006. Sharon Hodnett was one of them and has been a faithful servant for many, many years. It’s not a good-bye, but a so-long as she is moving to North Carolina to near her daughter and family. We will miss Sharon, but we want to acknowledge and thank her for her faithful ministry in our church. She joined in 1976 and didn’t miss many services or opportunities to serve in some capacity. Again, EVERYONE IS INVITED and each family is asked to bring a large dish of either fruit, grits, casserole or coffee cake. That’s at 9:30an followed by the Worship Service.
AND – following the Worship Service every evidence that we had Christmas will be removed! Yes, there are many reasons the Christmas decorations have remained up, but now they must come down and we are looking for lots of people willing to stay and help put things away. They’ll come down easier than putting them up – we estimate less than two hours. Will you help? Come early and eat a good breakfast. If necessary, we’ll get you lunch.
Last but not least – THIS IS IMPORTANT:
Chuck Gibson is still in Paulding WellStar Hospital and will be undergoing a heart catherization sometime today. Please be praying for him.

Continue to pray for Brittany Remole and Scott Kenerly as they receive treatments.
Mary Jasper has been very ill suffering from a severe cough. There are two very serious and special Unspoken prayer requests as well.
Linda Morris’ brother is also extremely ill and has been transferred from Kennestone to Emory Hospital for special care. Thank you all for your prayer support.
