“A Psalm Of Giving Thanks”

Thanksgiving Day will be celebrated around the country tomorrow in various fashion.  It’s been reported over 55 million people will be traveling by land, air, sea or rail over this holiday weekend.  You may be traveling, being a host, or simply spending a relaxing day.  Whatever you have planned, I hope you know you are blessed.  Even if it appears there is trouble at every corner, you are blessed by remembering God is with you and can help with any and all situations.  I encourage you to find a quiet place and read the words of “Giving Thanks” found in Psalm 100 (read below):

1Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.  2Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs.  3Know that the Lord is God.  It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, the sheep of His pasture.  4Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise;  give thanks to Him and praise His name.  5For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.”
